Annie’s Story
Annie’s story shares her journey with neuromyelitis optica (NMO), a rare autoimmune disease she was diagnosed with at age 12. After a difficult onset and lengthy hospitalization, Annie found strength through treatment, support and a desire to help others — now aspiring to become a neurologist and contribute to finding a cure.
Mitch’s Story
Mitch’s story follows his journey through an undiagnosed neurological condition that began at age 12. Despite multiple hospitalizations, treatments and challenges with mobility and hearing, Mitch has shown remarkable resilience. Now 16, he continues to make progress with the support of his care team and family.
